Pioneer mini split heat pumps
Pioneer mini splits are ductless heat pump systems with an outdoor unit and indoor air handlers. They move heat rather than burn fuel. In summer they reject heat outdoors. In winter they extract heat from outdoor air, which is enough for mild winters along the I-35 corridor. No furnace is required. Each indoor unit is its own zone and no ductwork is needed.
What the $2,000 Pioneer install includes
The posted $2,000 per Pioneer mini split covers the equipment, labor, line set, standard electrical, refrigerant, testing, cleanup and a Home Depot run for touch up paint. Ductless installs in Central Texas commonly run $3,000-$6,000 per zone on a custom quote. Most local HVAC contractors are quote based and require an in home sales visit. We post the rate instead. A very long line set, a panel upgrade the house already needed, or unusually difficult mounting are the exceptions and we name them before work starts.
Austin to Waco, Killeen and San Antonio
The same $2,000 rate applies in Austin and along the I-35 corridor north to Waco and Killeen and south to San Antonio. Property managers, landlords and multi unit owners get a volume discount off the $2,000 per unit rate. That discount is for multiple Pioneer units on the same property or portfolio, not a change to the posted single-unit price.
